HISTORY

University of Lahore

Two degree programs (BS and MPhil) in Environmental Sciences were launched in 2012 under Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, The University of Lahore, Lahore. Considering the significance of the discipline, Department of Environmental Sciences has been established in 2016 with the objective of creating environmental awareness and incorporating sustainability in developmental, industrial and agricultural sectors. Currently, the department offers BS, MSc and MPhil Programs in Environmental Sciences. 

Dean Message

  The aim of Department of Environmental Sciences is to pursue excellence in education and research by developing appropriate curricula and teaching practices, acquiring talented faculty and providing an environment conducive to teaching and learning. Its graduates are expected to possess high professional competence combined with humane and moral qualities.
